ya estoy de vuelta con una nueva tarjeta. He de reconocer que con esta me he divertido como una niña probando nuevas técnicas y jugando con mi recien llegada pasta de emboss. Para hacer la tarjeta he combinado dos retos que me pareció iban a la perfección con mi idea inicial. El primero es el reto semanal de Lawnscaping Challenge blog, llamado «Distress Mania» y el segundo es el reto de color que ha hecho Kits de Somni por su 6º aniversario. Bueno pues aquí os dejo la tarjeta para que veáis el resultado y luego os cuento un poco más al detalle cómo la he hecho, por si queréis usar alguna de las técnicas, que son muy divertidas.

I’m back with another card. I must recognise I have enjoyed it like a child doing this card because of the new techniques I have tried and my just arrived embossing paste. To create this card I have been inspired by two challenges that worked out perfectly with the idea I had on mind. The first one is the last «Lawnscaping Challenge blog» challenge, called «Distress Mania» and the second one is the color combo challenge for the 6th anniversary of «Kits de Somni». So, I leave you with my card and then I will be back to explain how I have created it, just in case you want to know how I have done anything.
Lo primero que he hecho ha sido, con los colores del combo de Kits de Somni como base, entintar la cartulina con tintas distress (spun sugar, worn lipstick y dried marigold) usando el aplicador de foam. Luego he lanzado gotas de agua que me he echado previamente en la mano y he dejado que éstas absorbieran la tinta, luego he secado las sobras para que no se me abombase el papel.
First, I have used the color combo from kits de Somni to create the background. I have picked 3 distress inks (spun sugar, worn lipstick and dried marigold) and applied them with the ink blending tool. Then I have spritzed some water with my fingers to create those beautiful drop marks.
Después, he hecho una plantilla de stencil con mis troqueles de corazón de Lawn Fawn. Los he troquelado en una plancha de acetato en las posiciones que yo quería para hacer el fondo de la tarjeta y con la plantilla he aplicado pasta de emboss de Ranger y encima, antes de que se secase, he echado purpurina: Rock Candy Distress Glitter.
While my background was drying I have created a stencil with the Lawn Fawn heart dies. I have taken a piece of acetate and put them where I wanted the figures to be cut. I have used this template as a stencil with my Ranger embossing paste. I have been fast and before the paste dried I have put some Rock Candy distress glitter over the hearts and have let the whole background to dry.
Por otro lado, en papel Copic, he estampado con tinta memento el cervatillo del set «Into the woods» de Lawn Fawn y lo he pintado con rotuladores también de la marca Copic. para darle brillo, una vez seco, le he dado una capa con mi rotulador de purpurina «Wink of Stella«.
In a piece of Copic paper I have stamped the cute deer from «Into the woods» stamp set using Memento ink and colored it with Copics. Then I have applied a code of my Wink of Stella glitter brush.
Para el cartel he partido de otro trozo de cartulina blanca y lo he teñido con rotuladores Copic, luego he estampado en tinta versamark el texto y he añadido polvos de emboss blancos de la marca Tsukineko. Para decorarlo he pintado el falso cosido con rotulador blanco y he anudado un trocito de cuerda en el lateral.
For my banner I have inked another piece of white cardstock with a few Copic markers and embossed the sentiment (also from the same set) on white Tsukineko embossing powder.
Y ya sólo queda darle el último toque con unas lentejuelas de colores.
You only need to add a couple of sequins and the card is finished.
