Hola. Como varias personas a las que no les quedó muy claro en mi anterior post cómo hice lo de la purpurina, he decidido hacer mi primer fototutorial y espero explicarme esta vez mejor, y que quede más claro; si no, por favor preguntadme y lo intento explicar mejor, si hace falta con un vídeo.
Hi there. As a couple of people have asked me about my last trial of a tutorial with the glitter, I have decided to post my first photo tutorial and I hope you understand me this time. If you don’t, please let me know and I will try to explain it better, I’ll shot a video if necessary.
Lo primero son los materiales:
These are the materials:
1. Cartulina blanca (o de cualquier color que quieras) / White cardstock (or any color you prefer)
2. Sello (yo he usado la pluma de la colección Lovestruck de Amy Tangerine) / Stamps (I have used the feather in Amy Tangerine’s Lovestruck stamp set)
3. Tinta (la que yo he usado es Versafine, pero cualquiera valdría) / Ink (mine is Versafine, but you can use whatever you want)
4. Cinta de doble cara / Double sided tape
5. Tijeras / Scissors
6. Purpuria (la mía, que queda como aterciopelada, es Jewel Glitter Ritz en color blanco ) / Glitter (I have used white Jewel Glitter Ritz)
7. Rotuladores en base alcohol (Yo he utilizado mis Copic en colores B00, B04, RV13 y R22) / Alcohol markers (I have used my B00, B04, RV13 and R22 Copics)
Para empezar, estampamos el sello en la cartulina y dejamos que se seque la tinta.
The first step is to stamp your image over the cardstock and let it dry.
Después ponemos la cinta de doble cara sobre el dibujo estampado.
Then, we place the double sided tape over our stamped image.
Así es cómo debería quedar.
This is how it should look.
Sin quitar el protector de la cinta de doble cara, recortamos la estampación.
The next step is cutting your images without peeling off the double sided tape.
Una vez recortado, quitamos la protección de la cinta de doble cara y, sobre un folio o cualquier hoja de papel que no sriva, echamos la purpurina sobre la imagen. Para que quede bien fijada, lo mejor es ayudarse con los dedos, apretando la purpurina sobre la cinta de doble cara, hasta que no quede ninguna zona pegajosa.
Once it’s cut, peel off the protector and, using a scratch paper as a base, put the glitter over the double sided tape. To help the glitter, the best way is help it with your fingers, pressing it carefully over the tape until you notice that there are no more sticky areas.

This is how they look before being painted.
Y ya, el último paso es darle color a la imagen con los rotuladores de base alcohol. Si hemos ajustado bien la purpurina a la cinta de doble cara, no deberían dejar restos ni contaminar nuestros rotuladores.
The last step is painting the images with alcohol markers. If the glitter is set on the double sided tape, it shouldn’t contaminate your markers when you paint over it.
Y este es el resultado final de mi proyecto. He usado las plumas para adornar un sobre; les he hecho un agujero arriba, por donde he pasado un poco de bakers twine y he añadido un brillantito en la parte inferior. Espero que os haya gustado, lo hayáis entendido y os haya sido útil.
And this is the final result. I have used the feathers to decorate an envelope; I have pierced a hole and put a baker,s twine into it and I have glued a little bling over the bottom area. I hope that you have liked this tutorial, that I have explained it better and that it have been useful.
